Virtatie respects the environment and sustainable development in all its operations, both in our own offices and at our clients’ facilities. Environmental friendliness entails sorting waste, using renewable energy, and keeping logistics chains as short and practical as possible. Vehicles and tools are selected and used appropriately.
Virtatie guides its clients in sustainable and ecological solutions, and delivers environmentally hazardous waste to their respective collection points. An important part of responsibility is to train our own staff in new technical solutions, so that we can offer clients the most environmentally friendly and functional option applicable.
Virtatie wants to be involved in building a better society for all. We practice corporate responsibility by offering young people from different backgrounds and at different ages with positions in, for example, the Work Practice Program, work trials, and internships. Virtatie works together with the South Savonia vocational college, Esedu and South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences, Xamk. We assist students at the university of applied sciences to complete their bachelor’s thesis with us.
